The problem I reported yesterday with the friendsofed.com domain appears to have been resolved, and the main website is now back online. To get the source code for my books, go to the friends of ED downloads page, and select the link for the relevant book. The books are listed alphabetically using the full title, so for example The Essential Guide to Dreamweaver CS4 is listed under T, not under E. You can also get the source code from my site, as indicated in yesterday’s post.
If you’re contemplating buying one of my books, and want a better idea of what they’re like, sample chapters in PDF format are available for each title. Just go to the list of web design books at friends of ED, and click the link for the title you’re interested in. This brings up a description of the book; you can download the sample chapter from the links on the right.

have most of your foe books …like the PHP for Flash do you have one for AS3 coming out?
Thanks, Christopher. My editor and I have discussed the idea of an AS3 version of the PHP/Flash book, but nothing definite has been decided.
Dear Dave
I have used your book PHP for Dreamweaver 8 and everything was going fine, until I upgraded to OS X 10.5 . MySQL won’t start at all and I just can’t fix it. I fixed Apache but that’s it. Any Help?
Sorry, I can’t help you with MySQL on OS X. I now use MAMP Pro on my MacBook Pro. It works fine on 10.5.

Posting in the Adobe forums is easy. Sign up for an Adobe account, and go to the appropriate forum. For general Dreamweaver questions, use the Dreamweaver General Discussion forum, and for PHP-related questions use the Dreamweaver Application Development forum.
Make sure you’re logged in. There’s a Login/Register link under the Forums title at the top left of the page. Then click Start a Discussion in the Actions panel on the right. Also take a look at Posting code in this forum and How to get help quickly.
